Peter & Lauren | Seasons on Ruthven | Toowoomba Wedding
Peter and Lauren’s wedding was held at Seasons on Ruthven, this place is a gem. The floor to ceiling glass windows coupled with rainy sky made for a beautiful backdrop for their wedding ceremony. This location was intimate and perfect for what Lauren and Peter were wanting for their wedding.
The rain held out enough allowing us to travel to a spot in Harlaxton. Reminiscing about their wedding day, Lauren disclosed she can’t even remember how cold it actually was during her photos. The photographer in me was overflowing with ideas, Lauren and Peter were committed to following where ever my excitement took us.
I have to admit photographing the location photos brings out all kinds of creative ideas in me and I love how no couple, no location, no dress is the same. On that note, I loved Laurens wedding dress, so magical! The wind was picking up, we needed to head before the storm hit. So we scaled the fence to head to Queens park, luckily Lauren wore appropriate climbing shoes under that princess dress.
Queens park delivered the goods, the dark sky and huge trees made for more moody wedding photography. Right up my alley. I was already excited to be chosen as Lauren and Peters wedding photographer, by this stage I was over energetic, and if the light wasn’t quickly fading I would have continued photographing these two. They were so easy to photograph!
We headed back to Seasons on Ruthven street and the couple took some time to enjoy each others company before joining their guests. The lowlight, intimate atmosphere and live acoustic music at Seasons topped off the day.
